Strive to teach people what went wrong with their choice of an exotic bird, and possibly what they can do differently to make it right. We have learned through experience that ones first choice of exotic isn’t always the right one for their situation, and throw in the personality differences between exotics within the same species, and you possibly have a recipe for failure.
Totally Positive Productions
In the last 27 years, TPP has offered and provided free services to youth and adults from low income families. To name a few, TPP provides the following projects/activities on an ongoing basis: After-School/Weekend Service Learning Projects, TPP Community Works Crime Prevention Program, Positive Rap, Singing, Dance and Spoken Word Talent Competitions, Educational Resources and Referrals, Free Educational/Cultural Enrichment Trips, Youth, Adult and Senior Employment and Training Program, and Community Service Hours (Chicago Public Schools and Court System)
Binkeez for Comfort
Donating bespoke, certified safe blankets to infants and children struggling with a life threatening illness, a developmental or neurological disorder, or a severe burn. Binkeez for Comfort® is privileged to provide comfort to these infants and children while simultaneously supporting their siblings as well as their parents and caregivers.
The Art of Elysium
For over twenty-four years, we’ve paired volunteer artists with communities in Los Angeles to support individuals in the midst of difficult emotional life challenges like illness, hospitalization, displacement, confinement, and/or crisis. We serve medically fragile children, teens, adults, seniors, those dealing with social, emotional and mental health issues, and the homeless.
HopeKids
Our vision is to restore hope and transform the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions, their families and the communities in which we serve. HopeKids provides ongoing events, activities and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child with cancer or some other life-threatening medical condition. We surround these remarkable children and their families with the message that hope is a powerful medicine.
Green Works in Kansas City
Green Works began serving 12 students at one urban high school and has grown to serve more than 200 students a year. Using outdoor experiences, project-based learning, STEM career exploration, work experiences and sustainable business, we achieve our mission to empower Kansas City’s future leaders to care for the environment, contribute to our economy, and create healthy communities.
