Remember...the cost of an acoustical solution also includes the installation and maintenance of that product. So, when you are comparing acoustical solutions, keep this mind.
We offer several different options and provide them by application type:
Impaling clips are a quick and easy way to install our acoustic wall panels to a wall. Each clip measures 1" x 1-1/2" and has two spikes to impale the back of a panel to hold it in place. The number of clips required is based on size and is indicated in the spec sheet. For panel applications requiring an air gap, wood spacer blocks can be installed between the impaling clips and the drywall to keep the panel spaced off the wall.
Material: Galvanized steel
Rotofast Snap-on Anchors reduce installation time, are easy to use, and simple to teach others to use. Simply screw the anchors into the panel core material, screw the black ratchet to the substrate, and mate the anchor with the black ratchet. It is that easy!
Material: Stabilized polypropylene plastic
Aluminum panel rails and clips are designed for two of the sections to wedge together, securely locking panels in place. The Z Clip system is for hanging interior panels where the installer desires a 3/8 inch length of engagement. A 1/2 inch clearance is required between the top of the panel and the ceiling. Z Bars can also be used for wall side mounts.
Material: 6063-T6 aluminum
Rotofast Cloud Anchors are a fast and secure way to hang fiberglass-core acoustic sound panels in a cloud formation. Cloud Anchors are independently positioned and installed on-site. They are strong, quick, and solve a variety of the installation challenges, such as overhead obstructions and fixed architectural elements.
Material: Stabilized polypropylene plastic
Our solution for an easier installation of our Aoudi planks. Spear clips impale securely onto a plank’s edge then fasten using a self-tapping screw. These heavy duty plastic clips can be screwed into standard substrate, furring strips, hat channel, or even ceiling 15/16” T bar. Each clip has 2 “spears” on each side with a plank runway that enables a solid and consistent stick every time.
Material: High performance Delrin® acetal homopolymer
Twist clips are used in conjunction with a 15/16” ceiling Grid T Bar. This system allows you to connect a cable gripper to a ceiling grid in order to suspend baffles. For situations where you need the baffle tight to the ceiling grid, these 1/4-20 x 5/8” stud twist clips can eliminate aircraft wire and cable grippers by screwing this twist clip directly into our baffles and then attach to T bar.
Material: Metal
We provide pre-installed eye-bolts using ¼” x 4” threaded eye bolts. Installer provides suspension hardware of architects or contractors preference —typically aircraft wire with either cable crimps or adjustable griplock systems.
Material: Zinc-plated steel
A cable gripper is an adjustable fastener that automatically grips and locks to any position on an aircraft cable using an internal, spring-loaded 3-ball gripping mechanism. This allows the Gripper to move freely up the cable but not down unless the mechanism is released. The cable grippers we provide are: side-cable exit gripper, 1/4-20 internal thread, for use with 3/64” – 1/16” 7 x 7 or 7 x 19 aircraft cable only, and carry a 50lb rating.
Material: Stainless steel
Adhesive transfer tape applied to our Sonus Felt products during manufacturing. This pressure-activated backing instantly adheres to a variety of wall surfaces with the benefits of no hardware or messy construction adhesives. Makes install a breeze!
Material: Adhesive and polycoated kraft liner
